Emergency First Response Instructor

Where can I get my EFR Instructor certification in Thailand?

Take part in the EFR Instructor! One of our professional first aid training courses in Phuket.

 The interesting and challenging part:

The fun part of the instructor training, not only here in Thailand, is to teach CPR and first aid to others so that they are ready to respond to emergencies. In addition, these courses are not only intended for persons wishing the PADI Rescue Diver course but also for any other recreational or professional activities.

The challenging part of this course is your commitment to training. Before the beginning of the course, you must complete all knowledge reviews in your EFR Instructor manual by an independent study. During the course, you must prepare classroom presentations on topics related to first aid skills consisting of a briefing, a demonstration, student participation, and a debriefing. On the first day, our EFR Instructor Trainer and PADI Course Director Alain will not only cover the course's standards, but he will demonstrate how to teach it. Of course, if you attended an English IDC course here in Phuket with Alain, you will understand the teaching structure.

What you will learn: You gain experience on how to structure the EFR course, the training requirements that are performance-based, and your role in the teaching environment of CPR and first aid. You will also learn how to motivate your students, assess their knowledge, effectively present the course content, develop practical sessions of applied skills, and conduct an effective learning experience based on scenarios. You will also learn how to conduct recommended skills: Use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), use emergency oxygen, and Choking management for a conscious adult, child, and infant.

 You will demonstrate your competencies:

  • Participant au cours et en réussissant une évaluation des exercices de secourisme.

  • Réalisant une présentation pratique sur l'un des exercices de secourisme assigné par Alain.

  • En passant et en obtenant au minimum 75 % sur un examen des Standards EFR.

 What you can teach:

You can conduct Emergency First Response "Primary care" (CPR) and Emergency First Response "Secondary care" (First Aid) for adults, children, and infants, but also "Primary care" (CPR) with the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
